Re-open Plan for shiloh

Shiloh is excited to welcome you back to our physical building at 1600 Broadway Ave. starting on July 5, 2020! In cooperation with guidelines from the provincial government, we have documented protocols Shiloh will be following in order to keep us all safe.

 

AS WE BEGIN THE RE-OPENING OF SHILOH, IT IS IMPERATIVE, AND EXPECTED, THAT ALL GUIDELINES AND INSTRUCTIONS ARE FOLLOWED FOR THE SAFETY OF EVERYONE.  ANYONE NOT ABIDING BY THE RULES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.

 

Registration

  • There will be a maximum of 65 people allowed in the building at any given time.

  • We are requiring those wishing to join our in-person Sunday worship services to register by the Friday prior. This will allow us to effectively stay within our legal limits.

  • When registering please indicate your first and last name, phone number, the number of people that will be accompanying you, as well as the first and last names of those accompanying you. Also indicate if you are all from the same household, and your preferred contact method. 

  • Registrations will be accepted by email (admin@shilohassemblychurch.com) or phone (306 757-5202) only.

  • Anyone who has not registered will not be allowed to enter the building once we have reached maximum capacity.

 

Arrival

  • The church will be open at 10:30 AM. Service will be from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM. There will be no evening service.

  • Please park in order of arrival, beginning at the spot facing the lawn closest to Broadway Ave. Parking Attendants will be guiding cars to the next available spot as they arrive. You will be asked to remain in your car until you are invited to line up to enter the building.

  • Please use the main entrance upon arrival. There will be one entrance and one exit. Do not use the side door entrances. DO NOT USE YOUR KEY TO THE BUILDING, if you have one.

  • As you enter the building, your temperature will be taken. You will be required to sanitize your hands and wear a mask while having your temperature taken. Masks will be provided for those who need one.

  • There will be no socializing and congregating on the property, including the parking lot and in the building, before the service begins.

 

Sanctuary

  • Seating arrangements have been assigned, allowing the required 6 ft. social distancing requirements.

  • All attendees from the same household will be seated together

  • Ushers will direct you to a seat in the sanctuary.

  • Hand sanitizer will be placed in each row for use as needed.

 

Restrooms

  • The restrooms in the south hallway across from the sanctuary doors will be available.

  • The restrooms at the back of the building will remain closed, and that area blocked off.

  • Restrooms will be cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis.

 

Tithes & Offering

  • We are still encouraging the use of e-transfer (email to sactre@sasktel.net).      

  • If use of the debit machine is required, please let the usher know prior to use.

  • The debit machine will be sanitized after each use.  

  • There will be an offering basket at the entrance to, and at the exit from, the sanctuary for cash or cheques.

 

Closing of Service

  • After the benediction, the ushers will prompt you in the direction to leave the church safely while still practicing social distancing. 

  • There will be no socializing and congregating on the property, including the parking lot and in the building, once the service ends.

 

Other Important Information

  • If you have a child(ren) under the age of 10, and they are unable to remain seated with you throughout the service, we ask they remain home in order the maintain the order of flow that must occur in the building/sanctuary.

  • Anyone with a compromised health condition should use their discretion whether or not to attend.

  • The use of masks on the property is strongly encouraged, especially while singing.

  • Eating and drinking will not be permitted on the property.

  • Sunday School and transportation services have been suspended until further notice.

  • For those who are not able to join us in person, the services will continue to be live streamed via Zoom.

Shiloh Assembly Apostolic Church has been established in the City of Regina since 1976.  The purpose for the church’s presence is to be God’s representatives in presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the City so that the will of God can be fulfilled —our salvation and joy-filled lives.
